THE DUBLIN CIRCUIT COURT

BEFORE THE JUDGE O’CONNOR

CIVIL TRIALS CALLOVER  -

Further to the statement of the President of the Circuit Court Published on 8 May 2020, and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A -Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020 the Dublin Civil Office will be listing cases scheduled for hearing between the  6th October 2020 to 30th November 2020 by way of a staggered call over in Court 28, Dublin 7 on Monday 31st August, Wednesday 2nd September, Thursday 3rd September and  Friday 4th September 2020.

The staggered lists are published hereunder. Details of the cases to be listed for each call over will be published on the Legal Diary in due course.

Arrangements are in place to ensure compliance with HSE guidelines and your co-operation is appreciated. To comply with social distancing requirements, staggered times have been allocated for parties to attend Court for the call over. It is imperative that the time slots allocated be strictly observed to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to and the list runs smoothly.

Practitioners and Litigants in person are required to attend at such call over to confirm that

(a) the case is ready to proceed

(b) the estimated duration of the case as set out in the Notice of Trial is accurate.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. Attend court at the appointed/designated time as there are no waiting facilities. There will not be a second call due to the current restrictions.

2. Only one representative for each party to attend court, who must be able to deal with the matter.

3. The parties must leave court and take all belongings at the expiry of the allotted time.

4. Where the Respondent is a litigant in person the moving party must inform the said litigant of the call over and time.

5. Ex-parte applications to adjourn or vacate matters listed in December will also be accepted.
